5/27/08 Saint Mary's to host Team USA Women's Volleyball Team Moraga, CAThe Saint Mary's College Volleyball Team will host the USA Women's Olympic team on Wednesday, July 30 for a send-off dinner prior to their departure for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, China. USA Volleyball fans will receive a unique opportunity to show support and interact with Team USA as it heads to China in search of a medal.
Moraga, CA - The Saint Mary's women's volleyball will host California and the alumni in back-to-back scrimmages on Friday, May 2. The day will begin for the Gaels with a 4:00 PM match-like scrimmage against the California Golden Bears, and will end with a 6:00 PM battle against the alumni team. Alumni from graduating classes, '07, '03, and '93 will all return to McKeon Pavilion for the event. Both the Cal scrimmage and alumni match are free and open to the public.
Moraga, CA - The Saint Mary's athletic department is pleased to announce the contract extension of women's volleyball Head Coach Rob Browning. Browning received a three-year extension to his current contract, as he joined Gael athletics in the spring of 2004 and will continue his tenure through 2011.
